Statement of Faith
- We believe in one God, who exists in three Persons. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is loving, holy and just.
- We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is inspired and accurate. It is our perfect guide in all matters of life.
- We believe that sin has separated us all from God, and that only through Jesus Christ can we be reconciled to God.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is both God and Man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, took all our sins upon Himself, died and rose again. Today, He is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Mediator.
- We believe that salvation is the gift of God to man. This gift is effected by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and it produces works pleasing to God.
- We believe that water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of God and a testimony of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and a statement of death in Him & therefore our new life in Him.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter. He guides us in all areas of our lives. He also blesses us with spiritual gifts and empowers us to yield the fruit of the Spirit.
- We believe in a secondary experience in the Holy Ghost; a baptism and enduing of power form the Spirit of God
- We believe that the Holy Communion is a celebration of Jesus’ death and our remembrance of Him and a statement of our kingdom life in righteousness and new creation through His body and blood.
- We believe that God wants to transform, heal and prosper us, so that we can live blessed and victorious lives that will impact and help others.
- We believe that we are called to preach the gospel to all nations.
- We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again just as He promised.
We have a ministry in the name of Great Holistic Transformation International which is a community initiative with a vision of “Transforming Lives to Touch Lives”. Our mission is: to be a leader in transforming the rural communities holistically.
The ministry began as a youth initiative and registered as a C.B.O in the year 2000 under the name of Christian Youth Network with a vision of giving “Practical solution to community challenges” which is still the vision of our non-denominational youth wing. This is because there are still many challenges in the rural communities with youths as the topmost challenge-drug abuse, unemployment, rebellion, pre-marital sex, early pregnancies, prostitution, robberies, fee, and HIV/AIDS infection and spreading among many others.
Besides youth being a challenge, there is HIV/AIDS, malaria, water borne infections, poverty, child molestation and abuse and gender imbalance among others. This is what moved us to begin Great Holistic Transformation International so as to reach the whole community with the message of transformation through varied initiatives. We therefore began a church that is now two years old to reach mature persons in the rural communities, while the youth initiatives reach youth and children both in local churches through seminars and conferences and in primary and secondary schools. We also began a school for orphans and other vulnerable children in the name of El-Shaddai Integrated Educational Centre where we reach them both spiritually and practically with food, clothing, books & pens , shelter, counseling and many other ways.
After learning of you, your vision and mission, we see a lot of similarities between our ministry and your ministry and thus request to network with you. There is an opportunity for you, your team, and missionaries in all fields to serve because we plan to have investments in the rural parts to eradicate poverty, plant more churches, volunteer teachers at our school of orphans and other vulnerable children, medical services to help the rural communities access quality medical services and many other things.
