FOUNDING / PURPOSE

Since the founding of Joy Centre, it’s phenominal growth plus the freedom & love that are its mark , prophet Vaughn has been asked by many around the world to provide, what we like to see as fatherhood relationship, as an integral part of the structure of their ministry. More than ever, people everywhere are seeking realationships that really do foster kingdom growth and not “name” or “organisation” establishment. From 2006 to 2007 the Lord began to speak to prophet Vaughn about a movement that He would use to bring in the coming harvest. God gave fresh instructions for the propogation of true “word” based fatherhood leadership. Joy Centre was the result of following those instructions. In a mere 28 months Joy Centre has a partner list of over 750, a core membership of over 450 souls, 2000 visitors have made decisions for Christ and in the last 12 months close to 10,000 people have received the Lord through outgoing ministry to the poor, the sick, the aged and the fatherless. Hundreds have been healed, set free, and received a powerfull baptism of the Spirit & love in a genuine encounter with almighty God. This is apart from other international ministry. Most remarkable though, is the fact that the membership is predominantly youth and the majority are new converts. Finally a move has begun where the sons & daughters of the next generation are being raised as a future fatherhood leadership. In the last eighteen months prophet Vaughn has been released of the Lord to travel internationally. In the same way that Joy Centre was the congregational start of obeying the instruction for the coming move of God, so Visitation Day International has been formed as a fellowship for all those who have sought to have their minsitries aligned with this move, and share impartation for the true fathering of the next generation and the bringing in of the greatest worldwide harvest ever seen. 

VISION / CONVICTION

It is our firm conviction that there are more believers  outside the establishment known as ‘church’ than inside it. Additionally in most ministries around the world, the youth or next generation fail to be embraced by ‘church as we have known it. At the same time worldwide, the largest population of young people to ever walk the earth, is currently growing up largely unevangelised. It appears the church desperately needs a revolution of it’s operation and power so as to be able establish relevance and embrace the next global generation. It is our conviction that the “word of God” holds those keys and that there is a fresh move of the Spirit being poured out for exactly this. All over the world, God’s children are being led to a fresh ‘well-of-living-water’ that will not fail to bring about a great global reformation of ‘church’. This will finally be a true image of Jesus Christ in the markets and at the bus-stops, on the highways and byways; a move that will not be “hemmed-in” by establishment and walls. It will reach every dark corner and demonstrate the love and power of Jesus on the street to sportsmen, athletes, pimps, prostitutes, addicts, dropouts and labourers plus business giants alike. As a vision it very simply translates into the following. Visitation Day International is a fellowship of ministries and ministers who like-mindedly share a passion to:
a) Manifest true fatherhood in a fresh mandate for church leadership that will be a demonstration of the ‘LOVE OF GOD’.
b) Bring truth by the ‘word of God’ that is confirmed by signs and wonders & power to impart ’LIFE’ through Christ within the context of a global village.
c) Live lives and establish minsitries that have the ability to do the above and bring in the great ‘next generation’ worldwide harvest of souls.
d) In the Spirit of true fatherhood; recognise, raise and commission the next generation of giftings into their destiny and maturity in good works.
